Morning, headed back out today.

My wife and kids would be rolling their eyes at that "dad" joke.
I thinks it's dead clever.
We've got to stick together. Stay strong. 😂

(On another forum that I inhabit, firearms related, with many current and former LEOs, I drove them nuts with "dad" jokes. Now the poor sods follow suit and emulate the very thing they complained about. Puns have been raised to an art form. It's like I became the puppet master. Won't be long before our avowed enemies make an attempt to recruit my services. LOL!)

Agree. One of the reasons I’m here .... everybody is talking about D3V, but the designs and handles in particular are what attracts me most. Of course, the steel helps :)
If you ever have the opportunity to obtain a Dan Farr knife, especially with his mortised handles, you will be in for a truly wonderful surprise.

Also, I don't know if he's around anymore, but Jamie Knowlden, who went by "blademan", also crafted wonderful scales that feel incredible in hand.

Both exceptional in that regard. Jamie took a naked blade I had received as a gift from Bob Dozier and outdid the master.

I don't think I've ever handled a knife more perfect in hand than Dan's...and that's saying something.

(And yes, I am very happy with the handles on all three of my current Carothers knives. Very much so.)
