It sure is and it's a nice place to get out of the city and relax. Unfortunately, the lake has been dry for years, but the landscape is worth it.That is some nice looking country there. It looks like it would hold a lot of adventure!
Love what you did here! Very Nice!!!!! Thanks for sharing!At the end of last summer, I wanted to redo my user HDFK so in September 2019 I took it apart and sent various pieces to various places. I just got all the parts back today. Timing couldn't be better as I am taking all the kids on our first family vacation camping as a family unit
So, the HDFK was acid washed by @CPK Mark and stoned and honed by @Nathan the Machinist. I dyed the buffed linen micarta scales black, and Josh @razor-edge-knives took the Ti CPK hardware and smoothed the surface, stonewashed then sent them for PVD DLC coating so they have an even matte finish that won't wear off like the black oxide.
Finally the sheath is a custom PRS design that Brian @Sagewood Gear made for me.
