Was practicing carving notches with the FK2 and my niece asks "can you make a duck?"

Used the hard/thin swedged FK2 for the whole project. The belly at the tip performs well for scooping cuts, and the thinner grind made stock removal easy. This is carved from oak that had been laying for awhile. FK2 still shaves easily afterwards.

Excellent job on the little quacker ! I also love the “bad idea” FK2 for its comparative slickness to the standard. Not that the standard FK2 doesn’t perform excellently. You’re the best uncle ever, btw . Nice work.

Thanks bro! Always vying for best/fun uncle status with all 8 nieces and nephews 😆. I have a hard time deciding which FK2 I like better, I think I need to hold on to both!
