All I see is Shiv... there is no small block... only Shiv!
It's Shivs all the way down.
A question for you Nathan (or Blues) regarding a GAW that I am planning on after I cleared it with my Boss, namely Marc:
Cut a long story longer, a while ago I let go of a sheath made for me by a friend whose nickname rhymes with Frog. In a trade which went down several years ago, that sheath left its nest here which I have since regretted specially because there is no longer our Frog in our CPK midst. Luckily for me, Grennie ended up with a haul of CPKs a while back which also included that particular sheath. As most folks know, Mr. G is quite a generous soul despite his pugnacious persona on here so he offered me the sheath back in return for naught. That sheath is quite a valuable one (at least to me) so I refuse to accept it in return for nothing. Knowing that Marc owns a large bevy of Paul Long's sheaths, I offered him my only PL made sheath which Paul had made for my DEK1 in the past. With their monetary value from back when being in the same proximity, I thought that would be a fair trade but Marc refused and still refuses.
I have decided to offer "Marc's" PL DEK1 sheath as a GAW, on Marc's behalf to the forumites in here after the Moorseville weekend when everyone returns back safely to their homes. The idea is that we will run this GAW for about a week and that Marc will be randomly selecting the winner from a random numbers generator which he will conduct and then I will ship it out to the winner. The shipping will be free for the domestic CPK'ers but if the winner ends up being an international CPK'er, additional shipping charges will apply. Only 3 CPK'ers will be excluded from this GAW, namely yours truly, the fooquer himself who refused this sheath against my former Frog sheath and lastly the MoFo who shall win that Skinner at the compound. Eff that lucky bastid too!
Are you guys cool with this scenario? It will be a gift from Marc to the winner with me as its administrator. I put all this BS background story in here so that it will not be related in the upcoming GAW if that is cool with you? Tis all.
Congrats! Very cool! The quest, my dear friends, has reached its magnificent culmination!
In a serendipitous twist of fate, akin to the stars aligning in a celestial ballet, I have been bestowed with the honor of acquiring an EDC2. This is no mere trinket or bauble, but a treasure most rare and coveted. Yet, the marvel does not cease there! For, in a turn of events as unforeseen as a comet's fiery trail across the night sky, I have come into possession of one of the illustrious 'zombie turds', a gem among its kind. Let us bask in the glory of this moment, a testament to the wonders that the fates may bestow upon us in their most generous moods!
I believe this to beTRfromMT 's zombie turd with his custom greenish gray buckeye burl scales.

Quoting Nathan from the above sale post: "It's an EDC2 with a nappy utility grade finish. And tool marks, pitting, gouges and not particularly straight. And it's un-dead and might try to bite. But it's 100% functional, and I ground a cool looking swedge on it. 5.0 ounces. Gross unwashed micarta with weird shmoo and smells like Sadie's feet."
P PokeIt Congrats on the great purchase, from Chris. I once had the chance to get it directly from Tony, but I didn't... and regretted it shortly after
.
Where's froggy?!
Congrats on the acquisition!
P.S.
***No offense meant. If anyone's forgotten the origin of the line from the movie, it was a compliment to being eloquent.
