A classy maker’s mark can enhance a blade for me. A bad one can certainly detract. That one is spot on! Nice job coach!
Hellz yea!
Nice engraving! I'd like to get that done to mine
That’s Mark’s new maker’s mark, he just started using it this past weekend - applied using an etcher. MikeNice engraving! I'd like to get that done to mine

It is indeed a beauty ! Great pic from Matthew, as well.I was somewhat stunned that this one was still on the table, after the sale. I mean, maybe I’m delusional, but I don’t think that it is possible to have too many of these incredible shivs.
Being at the end of my rather generous allowance for the show, I wasn’t sure that I should try to squeeze this one in. Marc, being the enabler that he is, had witnessed me going back and repeatedly picking this one up (about 1000 times), and basically said something like go for it. That’s all it took.
Since Matt and I had driven down together, he volunteered to take my stash home and mail it to me, which seemed a bit more safe than flying home with it. But, if you see him selling CPKs, on-line, let me know.Much to my delight, he used his considerable skills to create a photo of this one. Thank you, Matt!
This one features a horizontal satin finish grind by Mark, and some desert ironwood scales featuring some nice character. Thanks for looking! MikeView attachment 2698648
