The choppers are why I became interested in CPK knives. I thought the knowledge they gained from competition knives would help them make really good large knives.

TT might have been the way to go on these. That grip looks good! Like it would stick to your hand. I guess I’ll have to make do with my ECAM.

When I owned and used a Behemoth and Medium Chopper, ECAM worked just fine (and looked sooo good). My OG Light Chopper had ECAM also but I didn’t hit anything solid w/ it.

The idea this time around is that the TT will last a long time and absorb a tad bit more handle vibration on impact. IMO, nothing but pop cycle sticks looks as good as ECAM but I do like this TT and blue Ti combo and expect it to perform better overall.

I got to play in the creek with my niece and nephew saturday. Which was a great excuse to break in my LC, clearing a path for us to tromp through. It really was an instant favorite when I first picked it up, and it did not disappoint when putting it to use. It's like the perfect blend of hatchet/machete/knife for me. I'm thoroughly impressed, and will certainly look for reasons to put it on my belt.

I'm not sure who had the better time. The dog, the kiddos or me.
