ETA: we're about 60 deep in 3V. I'm switching over to some test knives in PSF27 (that won't get decked) while I wait for some fresh carbide to come in for the decking op.

Not yet. That's the purpose of these test knives. The D2 is a version called PSF27 that should be a little tougher than regular D2 (due to the manufacturing process) and might be a good fit for the pattern.

Carothers Utility Fighter (UF)

This was one great, long chase, trying to rope in this particular Carothers piece, Nathan's Utility Fighter (UF). The cocobolo is exceptional, the blade of Elmax. Much like the Shiv, I can see the number of UFs rising, but probably much more slowly, since no more exist to be processed:

My little group is growing. The top FK has been my woods knife since I got it... the green&black EDC is my, well, EDC.

Not sure if I'm keeping the two with black micarta, we'll see.
