Photos! Post your CPK photos here!

Very nice CS, agree with Justin However, since it's obviously a non-user I would never ever again insert into a Kydex sheath! I love Kydex for the Stone washed finishes Nathan offers, But Kydex will scratch Satin! Beautiful piece-Congrats:thumbsup::D

Not afraid of using it TG, to eviscerate some cucumber at some point ;)

I happen to have a satin FK too (in the prior 3V HT as never was offered in D3V).

^ Tommy, I had some pics posted before but didn't do such a great job as it was dark inside and it turned out that my photographs did not do that FK any justice! I got that on a trade of a D3V EDC with another infrequent forumite. I wanted D3V FK but went for the satin as it was a more unique and rare offering. Anyway, it came with buffed natural micarta (handles were sold to someone else already) which wasn't my "thang" but luckily Ninja-Jo hooked me up with one of the last of the forest green G10 handles which IMHO have brought that knife to life. Will try to post pics mañana :)

As promised photos on the Satin finished FK which was only done in 3V (pre Delta HT):

Would've helped a bit more if I had wiped down the blade before I took the photos

I assure all that Nathan's work is a lot more beautiful in person than my amateur hour photography

Still a very nice piece CS! Thanks for the pictures

You
This gorgeous FK in satin looks like a different knife altogether indoors and when the blade is wiped down  I had to do it more justice than my somewhat shoddy previous attempt:

You must have an effective means for procuring these collector blades. That's nice. Keep up the good work.

I'm indeed very, very fortunate to have made some great friends here on the subforum. Of course, I will never be able to thank you enough for deciding in my favor for one of those collector pieces but when the right time comes, I will be putting on my battle face, picking up my Shiv and diving into the upcoming Fridays sale ninja style, to assist both you/yours and Grog (if need be) with some NASKs acquisitions :D

For some reason, my mojo is much stronger when I proxy for other folks than when I try to race for myself. I think when I try to bid for myself, I have a tendency to wee myself a bit out of the excitement

Grabbed a big piece of round stock poplar to try my hand at carving wood spirit faces or caricature carvings.

I'll probably use the FK for the initial cuts then use the Ray Iles whittling knife that I have on order for the rest.

Time to see if I can get the ideas out of my head and onto the material without butchering it too much.

You are quite good and I'm excited to see where this goes.
