Hi, I found one of what I think is a Phrobis C.U.K at goodwill. I think it is a miltary version and I was wondering if there is a market for these and what they go for in good condition with the original sheath. Thanks

I think these were used by the seals in desert storm. Is this true?

past negative field reports meant that it's lost all credibility as a using knife per say;
but having been SEAL tagged at one point has relegated it to a specific collector market,
namely military knife collectors or SEAL fan boys.

Are these knives rare and how do you tell if they are the combat issued version because mine is completely unmarked.

Oh believe me when I saw it i nabbed it right away. I found that same knife but it is the second edition and mine is the first. I think the first is worth more.

You're probably right about yours having a higher value. Honestly, I've never seen much talk of Phrobis on ANY knife or outdoor forum. His design nabbed the contract for the M9 bayonet, but other than that, I've never read a lot of info on any of his stuff.

i have used it pretty extensively and thats how I found out as much as I have. There is not that much around about these knives especially what they are worth.

I'd either contact that site and see if they're interested in selling it, or toss it on ebay. There's another site called Cutler's Cove that does a lot with military blades too. Someone once posted that they got a virus from it though, so you may want to be careful.

I don't get it...you impatiently ask for information about and the value of a knife you THINK is a C.U.K., but nowhere in the thread do I see where you posted a picture it. Bottom line in my book is that any knife is currently worth whatever like examples in similar condition are selling for at the moment.

but I couldn't find any for sale. People keep saying that I need to look on the internet but thats why i'm here because I couldn't really find any information. There is none for sale and I don't know how to post pictures either.
