Cleaning out the old knife box some more. The Gerber I have had up here before, the other two are fresh trade offers.

First up is an old Al Mar Wild Hair. I bought this as far as I can figure sometime in the early '90s. It was never used but to cut paper, but at some point (I'm guessing when I left home for the USAF) my brothers got into my knives, and this one is now, if you look closely, missing the very very point. It is just enough that you could probably spend some dedicated time on a stone with it and bring the pin point back, but it has been taken off at the very tip. It has all the markings of a knife stored in a box of other knives, not in it's box, and stored in a couple basements. It's not used... But we'll just say it's used. Rubs and small scratches, slight oxidation on the nail file, and the sheath is worn from being stored and bounced around against other stuff. No box.

Next I have an older Ontario Spec Plus air force knife. Used but not abused. No sheath ( yea, my brothers again I believe). Obviously, no box.

Last, is the original Gerber LMF. I bought this back around '90-'91. This one has a grind issue, plain and simple. If you look down the spine, the blade is not symetrical from one side to the other, makes the blade actually look warped. It has been sharpened a couple times, and I carried it on a few camping trips, from NY, to TX, to Fl, and back to NY. Has the most comfortable handle on any knife I've ever held. Just something that never goes out with me anymore, and if it wasn't for the grind issue, it would be a cool collection piece of Gerber history. No box.

What am I looking for? Well, I wouldn't mind a Cold Steel hawk of sometype, something utilitarian, no spike hawks please. I wouldn't mind an Izula, and I always like slip joints - stag and bones handles make me grin. Used is just fine, usually what I expect to get for what I have to offer. What ever else you might have to offer I'll entertain, worst I can say is no thanks. So thanks for looking, Mark. Post offers here or send me an e-mail at-
