After walkabout posted his pic, I thought I should get a shot of all of mine together too.

Nothing particularly snazzy or expensive, just mainstream production: mostly BMs, some Outdoor Edge, Bark River, SAKs, including a victorinox GAK, a SOG, 2 old CRKT Mirages, a Case seahorse whittler, and an AG Russell. Oldest knife pictured is a Dragonlock balisong from the 80s, and a Gerber Bolt Action with a One-hand Bandit from the early 90s.

Most expensive knife is the BM forum knife, a 705 in M2 with bokote blade and carbon fiber handle. GAK is the cheapest at $5.00.

It's pretty clear I'm not a big knife kind of a guy. There's a few medium sized fixed blades that interest me, but they're customs and not yet in the budget.

Looks in envy at the 'small' collection. :o LOL, I have a grand total of two knives right now. But tax refunds are coming! :D

In the upper left hand corner, what is the 3rd knife from the top?

Very nice!!! :)

It took me about 5 years to slowly gather mine. The variety that I have is probably more an indication of lacking certainty about what I want rather than wisdom about what's out there. You've got an eye for good quality and functional blades, that you can use with confidence and not feel compelled to baby them.

Thanks for posting. I like seeing what people put together.

Just wait till some of the hard-core collectors posts theirs... they're what make me feel that mine is nowhere near as fancy as some. I remember someone posting a beautiful Ed Fowler collection, or some of the incredible Sebbie or Busse collections

Cool To see the full size pic, remove the .th from muzzleup's url. (.th for thumbnail)

Okay, let's end this "who has the most modest collection" contest right here.

Here is the most modest knife collection:
