Pic of my new custom Bowie, what do you guys think?

Here is a pic of my new custom Bowie(dont have it yet), its got a S30V blade that is a little over 3/16" thick HT to 57-58RC and a SS Guard, Handles are red/black G10 handle that will have a checkered pattern when it is done. Blade is 11". Here is pic

I like the pattern Rifter, looks like it will make a great field knife! When did Tim start grinding after heat treat???

Mike, I have always done some sort of grinding after HT, usually to some degree. I had to clean these up after HT cuz I noticed some blips in them.

The rockwell is 59, Paul Bos recommended rockwell for S30V. just gotta chcker and sheath and sharpen!!! And then cord wrap the little one, rehandle the Herb knife, etc etc
