Everyone needs at least one Randall.

Oh by the way the pic is of a Randall Model
16 special fighter with Stainless blade, nickel silver foward recured hilt, and
Border patrol handle, came with a model A sheath w/ sharpening stone pouch.

Tombstone, congrats on the new toy. I've been to Cubetas, nice selection, but their prices - OUCH!

Nice scan . I'm glad you found your way there. I don't find the prices at Cubetas extremely high. Like most dealers they mark up the Randalls but most of the other knives are near the makers price. Buying a knife there is a lot less expensive than the overall cost of attending a show. Most of us spend the cost of a knife or a couple knives just to go to a show. So if it was something I really wanted i wouldn't mind paying a premium.

Actually I agree with Tom.I didn't really find the prices overly high, not at least with the handmades and customs anyway.I paid $345.00 for the knife. When I added the extras to the base price of the #16 it wasn't that far off of what you would pay from an official dealer or Randall themselves and that was from a 1999 price list .It was nice to be able to actually handle all the knives before buying to get a feel for whats most comfortable, and best of all no long wait. Thanks for the replies,Ralph
