Pic Request (110, 112, & 55)

The "tiger stripe" wood in the picture is Obeche from Africa which has been stained and pressure impregnated with epoxy resin to make it hard. Natural Obeche is soft and blond. Obeche replaced macassar ebony in 1994 as the standard handle wood for #110s and #112s and is now showing up in some versions of the #55 and the new #111 design.
