I want to purchase the Aqua Salt SE Yellow SCFB23SYL fixed blade to have stored on my boat for them times when one needs to cut rope in a hurry. This knife looks absolutely perfect for this application.
My only concern is that it has a slight swedge and sometimes, our Australian customs can classify this as a false edge that could be sharpened, thus classifying it as a double sided blade ie. illegal to import.
If someone has one of these, is it possible to take a pic of the spine, to give me some idea of how deep the swedge is cut in and whether or not it looks like a false edge. I can only find side views of this knife on the net and can't find a local shop in my part of the world that retails them.
