Pic Request: GEC Viper, Case swayback jack and gent

Initially I was enthusiastic about the Viper -although the lanyard hole is to my mind questionable on this kind of pattern. I wasn't able to get one shipped abroad and on reflection I don't regret it as I think the GEC version is too big&heavy for my pocket carry. The CASE is a very pretty and well made knife, I gave the cv one away and kept the stainless, but they are rather small. For me at least the Houndstooth works best, decent long blade, compact but not fiddly carry and I like the actual feel of the knife. I'm looking forward to the single blade Wharncliffe Eureka as this too is an excellent in hand knife(at least in Jack form) .

Whenever I have a similar response to a new (or new-to-me) pattern, I recognize the disappointment and then purposefully transition into relief-- because a next pattern will indubitably prove irresistible.

I've learned to be grateful that patterns exist that I don't actually end up Needing. ;)

Thanks for the sage advice Sarah. It will make it easier to let this one go.
