Funny to think that a year ago, my only Becker was my trusty 9, and now I've got about a dozen BKs

That was a good read! The 16 is a spectacular knife. I'm also glad to see the Beckerheads here did not disappoint with the mod pictures!

Ditto'd for truth. Did similar with my 7 mod, though a tad more extreme....but this is about the 16, and though I am also late to the party, wanted to share a couple of mine (the only two I have):

Reprofiled blade (a bit pointier) with a firesteel notch added, liners and Micarta:

And my first; etched, stripped and tiger striped mustard patina:
