Pic Request - Shirogorov 111 and Spyderco Military

Recently the Shiro 111 has peaked my interest. Of course the size is a mild concern. I have several Spyderco Military/Military 2’s. Just seeing if anyone has both and could do some comparison pics.

Recently acquired a 111. It's straight out dreamy if you like em big. Zero complaints, every aspect is very well done.

I don't have the Spyderco but these should give a little perspective in larger hands. 9.75"

Have both. The 111 is significantly larger nave ~30% more cutting edge than the military. The newer 111s have a thinner blade than the military.

I believe there is a Shiro specific thread here under General Knife. There seem to be a few regulars there that you might try to request.

Yeah, and a much more compact package too (though I do love the handle on the Millie).

The F95 has slightly more edge length in a more compact package. The 111 will be about the same overall size as a Military with a larger blade.

I'd been ogling Shirogorov knives for some time and had been PMing about them with a few members here, soliciting opinions and guidance before taking the plunge early this past summer. One who was particularly cordial and helpful offered me the knife pictured below and it became my first Shiro. The second followed closely on that one's heels and a third showed up at my PO just earlier this week. Needless to say, I totally love these knives and there's lots to say about them, but all I'll mention for now is they share the seemingly contradictory qualities of being both over-priced and...
