Hey guys, can anybody please post some comparison pics of a rajah 2 and a ZT 200 especially the recurve parts. I know that the edge pro with the regular stones can handle recurve on the ZT 200 and I like to see if the recurve on the rajah 2 will be doable on the edge pro with the regular stones. Thanks in advance.

I don't have experience with either knife but I have no problem using the corners of the sharpmaker to sharpen the coldsteel spartan which has an even more dramatic recurve I think. Can you sharpen with the edge pro stones free hand?

This video shows how you can sharpen with a flat stone.

Thanks Nternal but I'm looking at reprofiling, not just sharpening. Hard to do reprofiling with the sharpmaker. I also wouldn't want to use the EP stones freehand.

It's not as easy to re-profile with the Sharpmaker compared to some other systems, but using the diamond rods (sold separately), it's very "doable". I just did it on a 710 (pretty good recurve) this weekend and it works great.

You can also put some sandpaper on the rods that come with it. This removes lots of metal very quickly, as does leaning a benchstone of a courser grit against the flats of the stones. Both methods keep the profile true.

I'm just not looking to reprofile with a sharpmaker. Please save it. What I'd really like to find out in this thread is, if the rajah 2 is doable with the edge pro.
