Pick 1 ZT or post 1

Even though the 0392 is one of my favorite ZT designs i have never owned/handled one so i leave it out of the equation.
I believe the 0640 gives a different perspective to the ZT lineup, and it's one of the smoothest -in the hydraulic feeling category, not the fly-open on bearings type- knives i've handled.

As far as 'good' manual knives that run on washers, I have owned a Large Sebenza 31, a Large inkosi, an mnandi, 2 times the Spyderco stovepipe, and a couple more Spydercos made in Taiwan but i don't remember if they were running on washers. From these, only my first stovepipe and, if i remember well, the mnandi were on par or better, but for a higher premium of course.

Also, that design really connects with me. The blade looks classy but dangerous at the same time, while also giving off a hunting knife vibe.
My only complaint is that the opening disk is on the small side and not really easy to use, so i am currently waiting on an aftermarket one to replace it.

So, yeah, in case i wasn't clear, i'll go with the 0640 😁
Gray precision makes a monster disc in any flavor you could want for the 0640. It's a fantastic upgrade.

Just one? Sigh...way too hard to choose. Out of your group, it's a tight race between the 0620 and 0640 for me.

The 0609 is still the one I carry the most, though. Thin, light, slicey, no-brainer EDC whether I'm wearing slacks to work or jeans. Might actually be my most carried folder out of everything I own.

You are gonna love it, the scales are milled out internally, it's a light handled beast!

Sweet! I'm glad they did some internal milling on such a big folder - I wish they would have done more of that with some of their chonks. ;)

I see in your pic you have a 0055 - definitely don't see many of those around! I have one but I'm not sure what to think of it. lol It's definitely an interesting design for the flipper - but mine flips flawlessly sometimes and then buggars the next. Probably a technique thing on my part.

I actually have two of the 0055, one standard and one bronze, they are a really neat design and full of fun actuation noises. And way cheaper than most of GTCs other designs 😂

That's the one i'm waiting to arrive along with a nice LBS for my ZT0562

Edit: thank you for the recommendation, though, that's how you learn new places and things!

I loved almost everything about the 0909, but one thing in particular. The dang giant hex nut pivot irritated the crap out of my thigh through my pants fabric when clipped in my right pocket. If the nut were on the outside and the flat pivot pin head on the inside, or the thing were a totally smoother design, I probably wouldn’t have gotten rid of it. It was definitely a beast, though.

Maybe someday I’ll try to toughen up my delicate thigh skin and give it another go.

It certainly isn't for the faint of thigh!

That’s a sick lineup my friend. Love all 4 of them but I’d have to go with the 0392. I really need to get my hands on a 0640 before the prices get up in the 0392 territory.
Thanks. I lost my first 640 going to a concert and had to leave it outside “hidden”. Wasn’t there when I came back. Extremely poor decision and poor planning.
