Got a smoking deal on this Hogue Elishewitz tomahawk. Super cool design, looks like it could work well but doubt I'd ever use it. Into the safe with the rest of my non users.

Well it really looks like a well Designed Axe, are you going to go out a do some chopping to test it?Retail is 450 on the full kit with 3 heads. Hawk alone is 300 and heads are 70 each. I won't discuss what I paid but about the cost of a head.
I noticed you said it would last a life time in the safe, i am first buying less costly axes like the SOG and Cold Steel Tomahawks costing around $45 dollars, and doing my testing on logs that came from a tree that was cut down, it also give me something to do besides read the forums. No I don't expect I will ever use it. I'm not into the bush craft stuff.
Yes tell be about buying knives, i had a part time in 2016 job selling knives at my local sporting goods store, problem was every time i saw a new knife i would buy it.I too have a few cheapo hawks but do not use them either. Knife collecting is a sickness.
