Comes in the Limited Edition box which worries me if they are really a limited run since I would like another 1 or 2 of them.

Blade markings are the std affair, nothing special. Handle is huge, however, I don't have an older model to compare it with, will do that the next time I see my Brother.

Will try to get pics up later.

Do tell where you located that knife, I'm looking to get one as well! Congrats bro:thumbup:

Local knife shop here in md ordered 2 of them, he only got one in. I think he ordered them during the Shot Show, not sure about that though.

Guess I need to get it out of the truck and see about some pics after dinner.

Lucky, lucky & lucky.

The fearless early adopter. Taking one for the team. Thank you.

Well the good news is they are being made just not that fast I guess. I too am looking forward to your pics, if you can take one with it in the sheath too would be great!

A few pics posted here of it:

The last one is of the handle with a quarter on it to show just how large/thick the handle is. Are the old ones that large also?

Blade markings are nicely stamped, not etched Buck 124 USA and the year code. Nothing on the back side of the blade.

I like it, glad I got one! Hope there are more 124's down the road!

Hi OC,

Yep Buck has done the "real" 124's proud with this new one! Love the gray/black micarta in the old ones and it looks like these new one are a match! Looks like I need to add another Buck to this years must have list.

Thanks for the photo's

Ok! I see the 2012 symbol in the pic, the chart that was on the other 124 thread helped out a bunch!

JB,
Thanks for posting the pic! I never did figure that out.

Rick,
Roger, you got it.

Here you go OC;)

Thanks! Better for everyone's viewing pleasure :-)

Sorry to the masses that I am not a better photographer.

Does the handle have shades of green or is it gray? they look like the green and black micarta I have seen on other knives before.

Knice nife ohen, interesting that it came with a "natural markings" card-I didnt realize any animals came with micarta horns or antlers :p

Yeah, I was also wondering where the Micarta Elk was dwelling these days :-)
My guess is that it's probably a policy for the LE boxes since most are natural products.

How long is the blade?

How long is the knife overall?

How much does it weigh?

When you decide to pass it around don't forget who your friends are. :)
