Picked up one of these tonight

Cool OHBG,

Can't wait to see your Pics....been thinking about one of these. Question is how much did you pay for it?

Hey OB, I just bought one of those too. They are real comfortable in the hand and take a good edge and resharpen easily.
I use mine, I figure you only go around once, (that I know about)., So you might as well enjoy.

The dealer had it marked for $100.00 even---but I had a coupon from the back of a grocery store receipt for $10.00 off a purchase of at least $50.00------so in effect I got it for $90.00 plus tax.

Closet queen!!! :D

I looked at that and immediately thought, "Wow! What a great addition to Mike Kerin's two 110 Sambar Stags!!!"...Mike posted a pic last week of his BCCI drop-point 110 and a matching clip-point 110, both in Sambar Stag.

Absolutely, carry it. What's the use of having one if you can't hang it on your belt and be proud of it. I always have another one in my pocket in case the cuttin' gets nasty.

Yep...I agree completely.
Carry it and use it for light duty. Use a back up for something nasty as Rud said :)

I always have a 889SBMF with me when one of the showgirls are on my belt.

That's pretty much my approach too.

I just received my 112LE also and it's a beauty. And I really like the distressed brown leather sheath that comes with it. (I wonder if you can buy them separately.)

I'm going to wear it on my belt in an open top custom sheath and enjoy it. And when the cutting gets dirty. I always have my trusty 373 in my pocket which handles most daily chores.

BTW, Anyone, I'm curious what is the exact model number above the bar code on the box end of 112LE's?

Thanks.....Mike

Wow,

Looks like the 112LE is a big hit!!!!! All of you that just posted that you have one; please post some pic's. I'd like to see how the stag varies for knife to knife.

Good one Trax! Nothing gets by you!
I wonder if that thing is full of Buck knives?

I have one I picked up for $100 out the door. I like it a lot, but prefer the 110. The 112 is just a little small for my hand and if I'm going to wear a belt sheath I might as well carry the 110.

Yours looks great! I would use it and enjoy it. I've gotten away from keeping stuff in the safe.

I'm taking a Randall with me on my next trip and maybe the dm 110 that Dave hooked me up with (just not sure I can get the 110 on my gear yet). If I'm not using it I'm selling it these days.

Where the hell did you find that pic Trax?? How appropriate for this forum!!!
My small collection will fit in the urn I will be in and scattered with me over the Pacific.

I'm like 6 gerbils banging a football when it comes to techno stuff!

I'll try over the weekend though if the Wife lets me.

It is a great combination and a good size if your hand is small. I passed on the first one I was shown since the stag slabs were a bad match. However, the second one was a sweet match!

(is there such a thing as email knife porn?:jerkit: ) Oh, the slabs were so warm, round, and smooth............. I'm going to stop before I get banned!

It was the first knife that really turned me onto Bucks. (I'm a new convert.)

hubba hubba hubba! hay why did you stop?
yo was jest getting to de good part!
smooth, it fit so nice in my tight grip as i reached out to cut....
