Picking Out A New Spyderco

I feel it's time to buy another Spyderco, only I'm having a little trouble deciding which to go for. My G10 Cara Cara has been in my EDC rotation for some time now. I'd like something a little smaller and lighter this time around. I plan on buying a G10 Robin, but I want to pick up a Spyderco when I order it.

Some preferences (Not requirements) I have in mind...

-Full Flat Grind
-G10, CF or FRN scales
-Shorter and lighter than a G10 Cara Cara
-100$ or less (Including secondary market)
-VG10 steel
-Frontlock is what I'm comfortable with, but I enjoy the more exotic locks like compression and ball lock. I try to avoid liner locks and frame locks.
-The fewer clip holes the better. I take all my clips off so having a big square recess in the handle (Think E3/D3) doesn't feel or look good.

A knife I've wanted for a while is the UKPK. My main concern is that the ergonomics would not fit me correctly, due to something I mentioned here. Basically, when the index finger cut-out and thumb ramp are positioned so close to eachother as opposed to the generous space an Endura offers there, my hand just doesn't fit the knife right. Maybe is someone could post some in-hand photos of the UKPK or Caly 3 for me it would help me out.

Aside from the UKPK, some other models that I've considered...

-Lil Temp
-Native
-Yojimbo
-Dodo
-Centofante 3 or 4

Anything else I should take a look at?

Native and Cento aren't full flats.

I had the drangonfly for a while before I lost it. It's full flat, light, and a very tiny handle that don't seem to offer much to grip on, but the blade sure is nice.

I've tried the Dragonfly. Love the design, size, weight etc but the ergos just didn't fit my hand. Same story with the Para. Two knives I'd like to own, but they just didn't work as well as I thought they would for me.

Full flat is preferred, but if I went with a hollow ground blade I'd just reprofile flat to stone and it'd cut just fine.

don't know a lot about the UKPK, but i've used all of the above with the exception of the dodo.

lil temp -- in trailing or leaf is a nice knife. i think someone found a place that was selling the leaf in serrated edge for $135, but you're likely going to spend $150+ for one of those. i'll be honest with you, though. . . it's my favorite knife. the grip is fantastic. . . .

native -- a friend of mine has one of those. nice and light -- not TOO bulky in the pocket. . . good knife.

yojimbo -- for me, that was purely a self-defense sort of piece. i had one for a bit but traded it on here, actually. . . . the blade is cool -- i like the straight edge on it, but i worried that i would do something stupid and break the tip (no offense to the design, but i thought it wouldn't be a knife that i would want to use for any heavy work).

centofante 3 -- nice light knife. thin blade with a decent belly. i bought this for my girlfriend (long story). i think this would be a nice knife for EDC and that could do some moderate work (the blade just doesn't seem. . . burly -- for lack of a better word).

centofante 4 -- i'm carrying that one now. it's got the wharncliffe style straight blade with a little sheep's foot sort of action on the front. really nice utility knife and because of the thinness is a great slicer -- least, it seems that way to me.

i think the native would be an all around choice that's capable of doing a lot of different tasks. . . with either of the centofante's coming in a close second. of course, that is only ruling out the lil temperance due to the price.

Not shorter than the Cara Cara but definitely lighter....the R2 is a great knife for the price but the handle is aluminum almite...
the Dodo is always a great choice .....but the steel is S30v....and i believe are hollow ground...
Jess Horn ZDP189 is a great knife to carry clipless....hollow ground laminated zdp189....
