pics and info request

Hello folks

the upper one (no, the pics aren't the same, I mirrored them so they look the same but they are different sides) Is a 1085 Hubertus hunting knife blank from 1972.. I rehandled it and polished the black back to it's original lusten. Stag handle, leather spaces, aluminium buttcap. Whole thing is filled with epoxy and rocksolid

The lower one is a 440C blank by K.Hons, provided by David Stradnel (Thanks David !

).... It looks perfect to me, but i am wondering about it's scales? What would you put on it? or liked to see one it?
Mosaic pinns are on it in any case.

I like how you did the stag.

For the other, I suggest scales of a medium dark, well figured wood. No guard, no pommel, just the scales profiled to the tang.
And remember to contour the palm swells on both sides.

Nice blade that one. I think a good dark wood will look great in it. And I alsosuggest that you leave a small part of the tang protruding to be used as a skull crusher or hammer.
