Hey guys.
Wanted to show a few pics of the trip I took with my Girlfriends younger brother, he likes the woods, and seeing as how haden't been out sense we were back east (we spent alot of time out in the woods there) I figured we would head out for a bit.
This is a picture of the road we were heading down on the out skirts of the city, their prepareing it for more housing so I thought we would get out befor it becam another section of concrete jungle.
After we moved about 50 meters ahead we cam acrost a pile of old logs, and a small portion of forest (just enough to make it look like their are woods there
)
The pile of wood and dirt(lots of chopping resources for sure
)
Then the small wood section, it felt kinda comfy there, it was out of the wind, and was very peaceful.
Then we got out the knives!
This is what I had on me, he was carring the Ka-bar 8" tanto.
A few shots of my pack.
Really loving that pack, its was a little tight, but I loosened it up while wearing all the clothing and it was fine. It does move around if you dont use the other strap however.
Then I did a small fuzzin' with the RC6, it did ok considering this was -40*C or colder water frozen poplar, very dense wood.
And I was gladly suprised when we exited over the hill, this is the sight I saw.
It was a fun little trip, a little bonding is allways good. He moved out with my girlfriend and I, needed to get outa Nova Scotia as there isnt much for a high school student back there. Much more chance of excelling out here.
Hope you liked'em guys.
