Well, im back.... Had a great time. Im totally Zen. We really needed to get away for a bit, and it was awesome to meet up with a few of you guys, and hang with my bro Mtnfolkmike and his amazing family. Mikes wife is awesome to have on a hike. She has probably forgot more about plants then I have even learned yet.

I really missed Cali, and it was nice to get to go "home" even for just a week. As soon as we landed in Cali, Mike had a fire, grub, and beer waiting on us. It was awesome. It just wouldnt have been the same w/o Mike and Jo, and Stingray, Boomer, and Mr Pink to hang with.

I could rattle on all day, but Im just gonna post a few pics. We took 650 pics, so it was a job just going trough all of em. Heres a few. Ill add more later...

Thanks to all you guys for an awesome trip, and openin your doors to us. Amazing folks round here. Thats what makes WSS so great. Not the blades, pics, or gear pron(which are great), but the folks here. You all are amazing.

Heres the only knife pic I took out of all the pics....

The gunny was a constant companion, and got a good workout. Great blade. All the beach time it saw, it really didnt pick up any rust too bad....

wow.. you guys got some awesome pics Jake....:eek: i imagine out 650 it was hard to pick and choose...:) those aquarium shots are cool...

i was great having you folks here man... there was sooooo much more we could have seen and done, and only so much time.... oh well... i'm sure ya'll will be back seeing how Tina definitely liked it here, and is considering the big move....:D thanks again... you guys are welcome anytime bro...:thumbup: till next time..

Oh, and I scored book 1 of The Walking Dead, its SICK! Im totally addicted. Great survival comic. I couldnt find day by day, but im gonna order it online.

will do jake... i'll get it to you in a few, i have to drop Cy off at school and then i'm going to hit a quick mtn. bike ride... :cool: what did your boys think of the pics...:) we're they amazed at the ocean and trees...:D
 
Hell yeah they were!!

They cant wait to come out. Pics are one thing, but they are gonna freak when the see em in person!!

Have a good ride. I hit the trails this AM... The Surly was lonely!

btw, are those jellyfish pics from the Monterrey aquarium? I love the giant octopus they have there.
 
Yeah, they are from Monterey. I love watching Jellyfish. Awesome creatures.

The octopus is sick!!!!
