I couldn't go, but a truly great guy, friend and forum member scored me something I've been long after in a very cool and unique color. :D:D. He offered it to me at cost, but I had to give him something in return for his generosity even though it's nothing spectacular.

I'll leave you with some intrigue as to what I got and who my benefactor was until the knife gets here.

I'll put up a pic of the ASH-1 I scored later, but I wanted to comment that, some of the color combos or even knives in particular that you think you wouldn't care for are completely different when you see them in person!
 
Well I finally got the cob webs out and loaded up the pics this morning. I also did not take a lot of pics as I was grabbing INFI:D!!! Great day indeed with Beef and Josh being some fine representatives of Busse Combat and Kin.

This ASH-1 is a fighter in the truest since. Man I love this thing and it gives me 6 ASH-1's now but this one at the top of the list. It is .218" at the ricasso and 3" from the face of the grips it's .135". Nothing but a double edged beauty!!!

Not a chance in heck I'll part whith what I got, especially my Busse Challenge Coin.
 
That black-on-black NMFBM is killer. Congrats Russ! You and Mulder are both lookin' good. :thumbup:
