Chicken satay with Indonesian peanut sauce on the first burn of my new cast iron BBQ.

Served on a sandwich.

Noticed today that my griddle perfectly fits on the standoffs of my bbq grate when it's turned upsidedown.
Good reason to light up some coals and make some nice vegan shawarma rolls.

Made some dough from just flour, salt oliveoil and some water

Mixed with some onion and chicory sliced real thin

Tasty stuff

Don't know what it's called, it a wheat based protein.

Yeah, that's seitan - textured wheat gluten.
SWMBO refers to it as rubber chicken.
