A great day on the West Coast (after this morning's rain stopped, lol). Since today is my 'Sunday' I got out with the dog to one of my favorite haunts. For those on dial-up, I'll just post the highlights.

Anyway, the rain was burning off at the trailhead as I started up.
At the top.
I spent a while eating lunch and watching this guy riding thermals before taking a break himself (herself I guess?...):
Also at the top, this is one of the most unique features. It's actually two veins of lighter rock (quartz I think) that intersect in the open. The 'arms' extend visibly for quite a ways, but they're tough to frame in a viewfinder!
