Scale mod:
Stripped & hand rubbed (LOL!) sating finish on this double edge dag, cut the double hilt off and sanded/polished:
Choil mod on the 511, plus a strip job to remove the remainder of the coating, then cold blued:
.45 Cal LBS on a ZT 301st:
Heat anodized the clip on this SNG then blew up the pic in a photo app for kicks:
Spyderco "Bodacious" (tenacious) modded for fun, not sure if this is a success or failure though.
That's it for now...

Homemade, one piece titanium shouldered floating barrel - in place of the lanyard w/floating pin, along with modified titanium standoff bushing:
Milled finger tip dimples, both side of titanium scale, to provide an exact fit, for my ambidextrous hand hold. As well as lighten internally and finished with flame on a mirror polish for durability:

Hey Shepard,
Sorry I missed your inquiry.
Kydex, as you know, comes in a .093" thickness...which happpens to be pretty darn close to the same thickness as many factory scales (.090").
Both Spyderco and BM uses this thickness on many of their flagship models.
The knife pictured has the .093" kydex on it.
As you know......I'm always on the hunt for new interesting materials.
I completed this one yesterday. So I'm test driving it today making sure everything is just so.
