Pics of customized production knives

Well I wanted to play around again with acid and stone washing again. So I did a two tone acid wash on my nano then a stone wash on it. I bought the knife with the scale on it. I didn't make that.

And I also did a acid/stone wash on a Shallot and then did some acid washed strips on the scales.

The HK 14715 has always been one of my favorite knives under $100... heck, one of my favs at any price point. Such a good knife, but always had a few complaints. Didn't like the hump on the back on of the blade, and the finger choil area wasn't ergonomic for me. Also, bringing out the stainless highlights just looks cool.

Nice! Who made those scales? They look great!

Beautiful stuff in this thread!

Made some American Walnut scales for my purple Izula.
Matches it's older brother now :)

These have a better fit than the ones on the black Izula I did while ago, real happy about how these turned out.
Fastened with torx screws that are a bit smaller than the hex screws Esee uses, better in proportion imho.

American Walnut is awesome. Easily my favorite. Great grain and color.

I still have to take pictures...but here's a video of my modded ZT0801

Here are a couple of mine. The first is a ZT0550 That someone has put a tanto profile and a custom scale. [wish I knew who it looks and functions awesome] I purchased it like this.
Second is a ZT0801 that I personally put a finger choil on and acid stone washed the blade. Then anodized the ti and stone washed it. I repeated the anodizing and stonewash about 5 times to give it really cool colors and worn look.

Interesting twist. I like the contrast!
