Maybe not considered a "production knife", but I did make a new scale, backspacer and lock protector. Been wanting to try the Lightning Strike Carbon Fiber material. I personally like the silver version better, but the copper LSCF complimented the bronze anodizing.
Have been mod'n this for a few. Smoothed out/rounded off the underside of the finger cut out. Ground the tip into a clip point. Ground the primary back quite a bit. My current favorite EDU and has been for close on a year now. Cuts great, feels good, and I'm not afraid to use it hard.
Tried my hand at jigging some titanium. Learned a few things, but all in all I'm pretty pleased. I may still go back and strip the heat coloring in the divots and ano a solid color (I'm thinking blue divots with bare Ti or bronze divots with gold on the flats.
Did a little anodizing and reground it for a usable tip. I went with a clip... preserves the belly and removes the most weight (balances nicely at the finger groove now). Thought about a swedge, but in the interest of tip strength crowned the spine instead. I think I really like this thing now
