Hey that's some job! Big improvement. I sold my 2 large grips. I should have sent them to you to pimp the handles! :)

Very nice.
What steels did you use?
Does hold an edge?
I really like my M4 or M2 Ritter models, but this could make me wander.;)
That's a good looking knife.

Thats Brad Vice Alabama Damascus. It's good steel that holds an edge fairly well, but is super easy to touch up to hairpoppin' toothy wicked.( : Does it compare in edge holding to your M4 or M2?No way. Thanks for the comments. It makes a good looking BM.Fitting is the biggest pain.

Here is my RAM that I did some work on, the scales where made a member here I forget his screen name.

Wow lots of great looking knives! Do y'all diy mod these knives or can you buy replacement handles and such?

the wave and i wanted a better slicer with a full grip, surprisingly i can still baton stuff with it, still working on making the swedge even and flat

Not bad Charlie Miking going on there!

When I came across this thread of customized productions and started going through all the pics I was impressed to see all the transformations everyone did with their blades. One post stood out that caught my eye. It was a pic of an ESEE JUNGLAS that was customized by Bryan Fry.
A while back ago I had acquired an ESEE 5 and I knew that Bryan could do the same with mine. So I contacted him and we worked out the details so this is the end result. He took these pics and is sending her back to me tomorrow.
Bryan enlarged the choil, texturized and reworked the scales and dyed and clear coated them, rounded the spine and after all the etching and sanding and blueing he touched up the edge and sharpened it to make it little sharper than factory.
Bryan said when he stripped off the factory coating he discovered a large discolored spot in the blade steel which was the result of the heat treating of the blade from factory which resulted in a hamon like change in steel color. I dig hamons on a blade I feel it gives the blade a unique character of its own. Thanks Bryan for a customization well done!
