I've done a lot of pimping on my knives , but have taken few pictures and when I do they are terrible cellphone pics ! So a couple nights ago my fiance helped me take a bootyload of pictures of my knives in various poses to share with my fellow forumites. My goal is to post pic here every other night , maybe nightly.

Tonight's knife is my Kershaw JYDII Ti/SG2

Mods - Scales sanded to corners and edges are round , scrubbed then heat colored and oxidized to a camo type pattern. The blade I took a lot off of the 'hump' to give it more of a point , also took a little of the tip off so it's not so thin , the blade was also scrubbed. The scratches you see are from using it to cut lots & lots of cardboard of varying thickness. This SG2 is a real performer ! and with the thinness of the blade it sails thru it very nicely , a quick strop and the edge is back to near normal. The flipping action is wonderful on this bad-boy.
I also modded the clip. IMO the fugly clip was the only bad feature of this otherwise excellent knife , so I got rid of all the weird curves and points and made it a square as possible , also gave it a 'battle hardened' look to go along with the camo pattern.

Let me know what you think please :)

Man that is a great list of mods. The knife should have been made that way. Did losing any weight in the blade affect the deployment speed at all? Super nice JYG 2.

Mine sure ain't as pretty as some, but man, they sure are usefull to me.

Why thank you Sir ! The flippin' action is the same in spite of the blade going on a little 'diet' , Kershaw did a great job on these , mine is a blem by the way :D The shape of the blade always annoyed me though which is why I took the parts I did not like off. The clip looks rough in the pics , its a little nicer in person.

Thanks again :)

Amazing customized customs Gichkin. I think he is using the term "crazy" as a compliment - as in, your work is so amazing - that it's "insane." The real question is, who are you selling these to? My imagination is running wild.
