Hey, my topic rhymes...wow. Anyway, I was wondering if there are any pictures available of the new E models with their spankin' new sheaths?!? I understand their arrival is imminent, but hey, two weeks is two weeks. Maybe a pic or two would tide us over? Andy? Thanks!!

Matt, nobody (excluding andy, maybe?) has seen the new sheaths yet. They apparently have little "pockets" on the front though. Can't wait to receive my BM.

lf you are interested, l recieved my new battle mistress 2 weeks ago. the new sheaths have a pouch in front that was big enough for a 2 sided DMT diafold stone with room to spare. l would describe the sheaths as a rough approximation of an eagle sheath with slightly lighter cordura material, not any less rugged, just more flexible.

I saw an interesting Busse on E-bay a few weeks ago (vaguely resembled a desert storm fighter). It came with an eagle sheath, and the seller told me in an e-mail that the "prototype" Busse had just recently been made, and had been made available to the seller by a Busse Combat employee.

Anyway, I didn't win the auction so I can't comment more on it, but the pictures looked awesome, and can still be viewed by following this link.

Andy, might you have any insight on this unusual knife and sheath (personally, I think it's a pretty sweet set-up).

OH YEAH

that logo means only one thing...EAGLE

I also wonder if the knife could be another Wheeler in the making. There's no talon hole, and no mention of steel type or warantee.

Although I like the Eagle sheaths,I was hoping that the retaining strap would not be done like the one in that pic. I have an older SHII that had a similar sheath, but without the pouch. I replaced it with kydex because of that strap. Too much trouble when you need the knife quickly.
Andy, is this what we can expect our sheaths to be like? If so, guess I'll be looking for a sheath maker soon.

That guy was the one selling those aprentice knives as Busse combat prototypes the first time around. I sent him an email an told him to stop cause you can get kicked off of ebay for giving an inaccurate description of your product. He emailed me back saying he was doing nothing wrong and that he should report me for telling his bidders the truth. But after that auction he began calling them aprentice knives and not protos. So who knows if you can trust the guy. who knows if this one was an aprentice or a real proto. I wonder if Aprentice knives carry the full Busse warranty?

I bought an apprentice Mean Street, where the front hole was over-sized a bit. I bought it from Dave at a show here in Ohio, and he said that the knife carried full warranty, EXCEPT for that hole area. Blade breaks(yeah right), covered, tang breaks, covered. That discussion was what made me order my SH-II (which should be here next week...slobber slobber drool drool)
