• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Pics of my almost completed my first knife...

Man that's awsome! The only posible negative I could come up with is the thumb rest might need to be slanted a little more to the rear, but without holding it it's hard to tell. And a personal preferance I hate a notch on the blade or choil, some people like them but I find they tent to hang up on stuf.

The paper thin gap your talking about is one reason a lot of makers use a fiber spacer. Especialy on natural materials that move a bit with humidity and temp changes the fiber spacer helps take up some of the shock. Also you can die your epoxy to match the spacer color and it'll help hide that hair thin line. It won't make up for poor fit, but it can make a good fit better. Still take a lot of dry fitting. Also you may have over tightened the corbies just a bit causing the scales to warp ever so slightly.

All in all light years ahead of my first, or 31'st! heck I kinda like the disk ground plung lines too! I love the shape and it looks like it would handle some seariouse heavy duty work.
