After a late night, I finally finished three of my 8 "Christmas Knives." These also happen to be the first three I ever made, or rather the first three I ever completed! I am thrilled and enjoyed this more than I ever expected. This is definitely only the beginning for me.
This one is for my nephew. It's 1095, hardened by Darrin Sanders. 11 OAL, 3/16" thick, full flat grind with OD micarta handle. This one is actually the first one I started, just about a year ago.

This is for my other nephew. It's 154CM, about .101" thick and about 10"OAL with a full flat grind. It has a carbon fiber handle and stainless steel tube.

This is for my sister in law. It's 154CM, about .101" thick and about 12" OAL with a full flat grind. The handle is stabilized black ash burl and spalted big leaf maple burl. I made the cross pin myself after about 88 attempts.

Both pf the stainless were hardened by Texas KnifeMaker's Supply.
The rest of the knives are nearing completion, mostly details and sharpening. Will post them as they get finished.
