I'm ordering a small Sabenza and am undecided between the regular and the Classic 2000. Is there a website that has good side-by-side pics so the blade shapes can be compared? The Chris Reeves site doesnt show a coparison.
Thanks,
Rich
Thanks Guys, but thanks to you Rick, I'm now torn between three instead of two. That wood inlay sure looks sweeeeet! (sigh) guess I'll have to post more of mine for sale.
Thanks again,
Rich
I just went to a picture and it sure looks like the blades are a little different. (The classic 2000 and the regular "Plain". The plain seems to have more of an elliptical shape.)
Rick: It's quite a problem to have a knife that's meant for carry (like that wood scaled beauty), but you just can't bring yorself to put even the tiniest scratch on that glass-like finish. You'd better send that baby to my safe for "protection".
It's almost a relief when I read that I'm not the only guy who cuts himself. It seems to be a regular thing these days. Like some kind of a "streak".
Oh, and rub some "Hoppe's" in that cut. (Not really
) I'll listen. I bet I can hear you scream from here!

I just looked at some more pictures. It does look like the blades on the large Sebenzas are the same. (2000 and reg.) However, on the small Sebenza, there is a slightly different blade profile between the Sebenza 2000 and the Regular Plain. Anyone else see this? I KNOW I'm not seeing things. Just because I dream about the knives I want doesn't mean I see things that aren't there.
Does it??

Mendacity is the
system we live in.
Will, I agree. There does appear to be a difference, which is why I requested pics originally. If,in fact, there is a difference, I'd prefer the shape of the Classic blade and the handle of the regular.
Anyone have both?........Rick?
Rick:
I sure feel lucky to have gotten my wood inlay. I had a feeling that this was going to take off!. Yours is such a beauty of a knife you shoudn't keep that poor baby in a safe! But your point is well taken. I used to carry my inlay everywhere including at night. At work I dropped a small amount of crazy glue on the wood. Thought I was going to die! But... sent it back to CRK and they fixed it up and only charged me for shipping! Now I only carry it at home on my day off and nothing else is in my left pocket. Like I said a beauty of a knife, I feel fortunate to have mine. Life is too short, enjoy it. Rick I know you have plenty of very nice knives, use that wood inlay! My bike has just over 50K miles, I'm gonna catch up to your Harley. In So. California I can ride year round.

Rick:
I ride a Kawasaki ZX-11 Ninja. Runs great. I have a racing shop do the maintenance. I ride it to work 35 miles each way, Orange County to Los Angeles. I agree, below 40 degrees it gets pretty painful. I take the car when it rains and when I don't feel so hot. I have 125 HP at the rear wheel. 120-150MPH puts the world in a whole new perspective! Awesome, it hauls ass! And it gets 44 MPG when I ride it like a sane person. At 120MPH mileage goes down to a meezly 38MPG. What a rush!
You guys are making me feel bad. I'm currently without a bike for the first time in many, many years. Sold my last one, a 1500 Gold Wing and bought a Miata as my toy.
They're a kick but not the same (insert big sigh) Traded a beige money pit for a red one (can't have one without puting accessories on them can you?)
