I couldn't be more tickled with these wonderful beautiful excellent folders from the magicians @ Buck. WOW! You people are all right. What do you all eat for breakfast to be able to produce such heart pounding excitement in locking folders? I want to know. :)

You really have me excited about getting my "lot" later this week. Those are some handsome knives!

Thank you for the kind words Casey.

To my surprise I am unable to capture the rich and subtle colors of the bone scales. It is rich and attractive. They are as smooth to the touch as is polished marble. What a surprise. And I cannot find any cracks or defects in the bone material despite going over it with a loupe. I won't hesitate to covet other cutlery with bone handles as this example is outstanding.

Hey Oregon, how's the feel of those burgundy sheaths?
Lookin' good

It smells and feels like good quality leather. The burgundy sheath is stiff compared to the aged leather sheath that came with the bone 110. Both sheaths are made in Mexico. The stitching looks top drawer. I wouldn't hesitate to trust my knife in either one. I find nothing but likeability.

Those look great. As Casey said, I'm looking forward to mine arriving soon.

Dang, I wish I'd had seen those Cow Bone 110's. Some handsome knives you got. Thanks, for posting these photos. DM

I'm quite fond of the rosewood 154CM 110 and I'm really anxious for mines arrival. I especially like the "cow bone" 110 as well and briefly considered purchasing one but at this current placeand time I'm in need of a robust more utilitarian 110 and the cow bone while very attractive would IMO be a less desireable choice for a user seeing as wood is a tad bit more tough than bone. But still the cow bone in all seriousness looks killer. You however have made the optimal choice by purchasing both 110s.

Knice nives oregon, enjoy.

Thank you kindly. Aren't they though. Production knives generally follow a bell curve of quality. These skewed the curve toward the knife nirvana end of the bell shape into the WOW zone.

I just do what California Dave does. His taste in cutlery is superb. It is my pleasure to post pics in this terrific forum. Thank you members for the hospitality you've all extended me here over the years.

Thank you WR. I've never owned a Buck Cow Bone LE before. I was uncertain about this scale material. I couldn't be happier with the look, feel and fit of the white bone in this 110.

It is difficult for me to imagine a better looking or better working robust folding knife than this Rosewood 110. Really fine work Buck. Bravo.

Yea looks like Buck took them off the web specials, oh well it is what it is.

yep cant get mo cow bone ... not avabile at this time
buts i did get some o the dark steel ones ..
i guess ya gots to be quick on de key board to get em...

Here's some comfort to the ones who couldn't get a CPM 110 for $35.

There are still thousands of used 440C 110s available for about that price......and you can send them to Buck to be polished up like new for about $10 total including your shipping.

Rejoice.

At least at this point there's no need for anyone to have to settle for an old 440C 110, the CPM154's are still available. ;)

I just ordered a black bladed CPM 154 Buck 110, this will be my first Buck actually, I've been looking at getting a custom shop one (probably still will down the line), but couldn't pass up this version for the same price of a regular 420HC 110, I prefer satin blades, but can't complain for the price.

My two 110's showed up today and they are sweet! The sheaths are a beautifull color, and yes, they have a nice leather smell:) I'm going to hit one with some mink oil tomorrow and see how that goes.

Question??? What is the coating on the blade? It looks to be almost like blueing...

Ok........maybe now.
