Thank you for looking.

The completely polished bone is almost as smooth as the shiny slippery nickel silver bolsters are. It was beyond my imagination that cow bone could be finished so finely. The whiteness of the scales makes the knife look like something a nurse would be issued or carry, uh, if nurses used knives I guess. It looks pure, clean and like rich stuff. Not at all like what is left on my plate after a t-bone dinner. Uh uh. Nothing like it. All the fun without the fuss and trouble of ivory.

Phenomenal specimen, Oregon.

I hope mine make it tomorrow. They're scheduled to be delivered at the office but we close it down early on Friday and I bet I don't get to fondle them until Monday!

Did you happen to get the brass cow bone 110 when it was offered? I'm curious how they compare.

Nope. I was too unfamiliar with bone scale material and wouldn't take that first step before this latest round of web specials. Now I wish that I hadn't been so hesitant.

I recieved my rosewood CPM 154 110 today, and I'm almost speechless. This thing is beautiful (and darned sharp)! It's my first real 110 - well, first whole one at least - I also have a project from a junk sale that I hope to post progress pictures of some day. I was only slightly interested in 110's before getting that one, now I think I am hooked...

Too funny LB.

I too only want those things that I don't have.

All those colors spell rich stuff to me: gold, silver and ivory.

The typical black has its place but those three colors put the spell on me.

I'd like to see your brass bolstered cow bone 110. Yes I would.

I asked Leroy, last time I say him in April, how about swapping in an ivory Micarta handle into the new 124 (something I'd like to own) and all he said was "expensive." So I'm kinda waiting to see what he does with his many orders for the new Frontiersman when he embellishes them.

I don't know of any knife that I wouldn't want to see ivory Micarta scales on. Or white bone.

Thank you kindly for the pics LB.

I had a heck of a time getting the color I see when I look at the cow bone scales with my eyes vs what I see on the pics. I see mostly stark white with the naked eye. My camera yellows the scales. Are your scales kind of yellowish?

I'm with you Sturubu. If the Rosewood 110 was one little bit nicer it would be a sin and probably impossible. It is perfect. Everyone should have one. Really.

Here's the two brass bolstered ones I got last time. The bone in top one isn't as white and clear as the other one, but is attractive in it's own right.

That combination, brass & white bone, is a great look. Beautiful. Thank you kindly for the photos LB & California Dave. Very attractive. Were these mated with the distressed natural-look sheaths?

Looks like you guys did good. I ordered 4 Rosewoods, 2 each for me and a friend. One to use and one for the collection. L <> R pictures go together.
