... then just imagine what this thing would do to you:

i got my order from koyote knives today. i got a PSK knife and the camp chopper above. the chopper has about a 12'' blade and is 1/8'' thick. the PSK has a 3'' blade and is also 1/8'' thick. luckily, we are getting some great weather in OK (40 degrees and sunny) so i got to go out and play.

Chopper, bushcrafter ( got that one a while ago), and the PSK. the sheath on the chopper is amazing  the chicago screws on the belt loop and the D-ring are both very nice touches.

i wanted to get a fire going (which wasnt very hard because of the nice breeze) so i did some chopping and battoning.

the psk was a really good woodcarver. in this pic you can see some of the intracate textures it can carve:

both of the knives did great at everything they did. i also did some draw knifing with the chopper and, as expected, it worked great. christof and sierra do some awsome work . i ordered the handle a tad large, since i am 6'4'' with hands to match and am still growing. if you havent got somthing from christof yet, i definatly encourage getting in contact with him (www.koyoteknives.com) . the postman was especially good to me today. not only did he bring me two awsome knives, but he also brought a letter for my brother saying he got some significant scholarship :) .

That is a very big knife! The blued blade is very nice looking.

That camp chopper is an awesome knife.
I would love to see some more picts of it in action.

Christof is going wild! :D

His small knives are jewels, but that is an incredible job on the chopper, and the handle is pretty spectacular too. The chopper looks like something out of the Middle Ages, really cool.

I've been calling the style a "sierra machete" in my head- thicker and stiffer than the average "mexican machete", with the long clip and slightly bowie styling. It's great for temperate forests.

Brendan told me he was 6'4", so I made this one a bit extra sized. With the edge drop and coffin handle, they are easy to swing around all day.

I gotta say, I am personally in love with the maple. that's some of the prettiest native wood I've seen.

Koyote..... do you make any BIG blades? I kind of like that long one, but do you have any just a few inches longer maybe?

((( :D )))

Sweet.....
