Steve, wonderful stuff. Really liked the one with the bone dot inlays. Can you tell me a little more about Lexol?

Lexol is a leather treatment often used for leather in cars. I bought it for that purpose, but it seems to work well on old scabbards. Another treatment often recommended is Pecard . I've never used it but it's highly thought of.

Thanks,
Steve

Very nice pieces and well taken care of. Great pictures. Did anyone notice the last picture has the same kind of "clockwork" end that are on the Movie models. Interesting.

It does have a multi pointed washer, but it's not as thick as on the movie model. The buttcap is kind of convex, like a chitlangi or a chainpuri.

:D Wow! Those are great. I agree with Aardvark, that last one is really nice!

I'm wondering if the slabs on the old Khyber Knife isn't sheep horn?
Steve is there any way to tell for pretty sure what it is?
The last few years there's been a new hairpipe made from sheep horn that's a really pretty red and that's what made me think of that.
I never have gotten around to making myself a new choker out of the standard sheep horn hairpipe I bought specificaly for that purpose, but when I do it's gonna be a pretty thing.:D

All beautiful pieces, in this and the other thread.:D

Nice horn handle with bone dots inlaid. Original sheath that really soaked up the Lexol.

Can you tell me the overall length of this Kuk?

CB, It's 16 3/8" long overall. The spine is about 1/4" thick, and the weight is a lightning fast 14 oz.
