Picture of the Kamis from Bir Gurkha shop.

I might be wrong, but it looks like Bura isn't enthralled with the photo... ;) You are now H.I.'s U.S.A. representative, and you are given the not too easy task of placing orders, promoting H.I.'s wares, keeping the kamis in line as per what the customers demand, accepting special orders, and keeping H.I.'s quality as high as possible.

It's great to see you posting, and attaching pics at that. :) If you need any help, you have a rather vast assembly of faithful friends and customers at your call and beckon. Be well, Yangdu, and welcome back to the Titanic! :D The more we see you posting, the better it will get; you have tons of valuable insights and information for all of us...

I think he is looking at the camera and thinking, " I could make a toaster out of that thing. " :D

I can imagine the *real* fear they faced when they heard of Bill's passing. Those of us in the US could pretty well bet on getting employment at or near our current level if the company folded...can you imagine what it would be like to try to replace Bill's care and generousity?

I am sure they were reassured by Yangdu's visit...

Yes, our friend Yangdu is carrying a heavy burden of responsibility.

Fortunately, she has the strength and resolve her countrymen are known for. I have no doubt that she will accomplish her tasks, in the same manner as when as a little girl she daily climbed the high hills of Nepal.

The Sword shield/ Khukuri photograph on the bulletin board are an old models from museum.

Pradip is our Birgurkha Shop manager. He does not make Khukuris.

So then Pradip is the man who has to answer to you for quality...

I'm sending him blessings...you're tough!

:D

Thanks Yangdu -

Guys in the first photo look a little worried about the expert scrutiny their work is receiving. Even Bura!

As they should, I'm sure they are aware that you don't work this hard for this long to allow quality to lapse. If they let that thought slip from their mind for even an instant I'm sure Yangdu would remind them swiftly and thoroughly.
