I really like lanyards because I think that not only do they provide utility when used on a knife but they just looks awesome if done right.
Crappy picture.

Pretty simple coil knot that turns into a pain because anyone with a Mini-Barrage knows that it is a tiny lanyard whole and a pretty thick knife so lanyards looks kinda strange on them.

Now I want to see some others that will give me some cool ideas ;)

Alex,

What style of laynayrd is that? It looks quick to tie with the ability for some extra 550 cord for emergency field use.

How do I insert my pictures? Sorry never did it before.

Easiest way is to join a hosting site (many are free such as PhotoBucket) and upload to there.

Then use the "img" code to include them in your post. By using the "Quote" feature of the forum, you can see the code used, by others.

I do a basic hangmans noose on most folders, I have large hands so its for my pinky to grip to.

and got that on my wenger SI, it sits in my watch pocket and that assists in drawing it.

if you have a facebook accout I now host mine on there, click the copy img URL tab and bobs your uncle...I got sick of photobucket constantly removing my pics.

Have any of you ever accidently closed your knife and cut you lanyard??

Yes:(

Didn't notice until it unraveled while I was using the knife.

Here are some quick and ugly ones I usually put on:

I also have bought some from thelanyardzone in Canada, owned by a knife guy who is a member of a couple forums, great lanyards, have a few more I just ordered the other day.
