Picture of your lanyards?

I've always tied a simple hangmans knot on my knives. I do take out 3 or 4 of the inner threads on the paracord fo most all of my folders and that gives me a slimmer knot. After this I apply two or 3 coats of super glue to the knot and after it dries it makes it very, very hard. I like to do it this way as it gives me something solid to hang onto if I'm trying to get more reach for something I'm cutting. Sometimes the superglue will turn a little white, but when dry I take some 1000 to 1500 grit wet/dry sand paper and sand it to get the white off. You can also polish it and get a rather nice and pleasing look to it.:)

After reading cutter17's post I instantly gave it a whirl and for a first attempt it looks great...I should have worn latex gloves because I have superglue over my fingers, but all in all I'll be doing this with some more lanyards that serve as additional handle length. This one is sanded and then polished with fine papers I collect up for polishing blades. :D:thumbup:

Now to order some more paracord in.

Just got mine in from Scott at http://thelanyardzone.com/catalog/
and thought I'd throw some more pics into this thread.

Yeah even the old bullet knife got one since I gave away the Benchmade that one was supposed to go on right before the order arrived.

Heres the A100 in-pocket. I don't think they add to the visibility that much, even being half neon green. It definitely makes use much easier in the winter months when you're wearing gloves.

Sorry they are cell pics, got rid of my camera in favor of the Emersons :D

There have got to be more guys with lanyards on their knives out there, post up! :)

how is it that lanyards provide utility?

Ever try and take a knife out of your pocket with mittens on? :)

Same goes for anytime your hands are covered in nasty or slippery stuff like mud dirt, concrete, silt from a river (personal reason most of my have a lanyard) Wrap your pinky around the lanyard and its less likely to get dropped while your taking it out, which can mean never finding it again. Different strokes for different folks.

I've seen plenty of fobs posted here, but not a single actual lanyard yet.

Where is everyone getting their skull beads at for their lanyards?

Anyone making some really cool & high quality, reasonably priced Ti ones?

I would also be looking for a black skull bead.
