Change Username Picture problem- maybe Photobucket and maybe the forum?

I am running into the same problem. I've been doing the same thing for years to post pics in a forum. It's not rocket science. It's just not working. I'm not much of a computer person to begin with. I liked sharing pics in the traditional section but I'm almost done trying. It's to bad I did like hanging on the porch. But with most things in life you will find when they tell you it's gonna get better....if ain't.
 
Looks like you managed to post the picture properly, was there another problem?

One potential solution to everybody running into this same problem is to not use Photobucket, it's bloated and slow and confusing compared to Imgur, plus Imgur has a phone app for easy uploads that means you won't have file size restrictions and still be able to upload photos from your phone to the site without needing anything but a middle-man app.
 
I tried Imgur in the past, but it was more complicated and not as intuitive to me. Even though Photobucket is working now it has problems so frequently I am still going to give Imgur another shot.

Ernie,

Besides using the "Direct Link" option above, were you able to find a workaround? I've always pasted the IMG link directly into a reply. Can't do it now.

No, I tried every other combo possible and only the direct link as described above works.

Are you trying this from an iPad or iPhone?
 
I just copied and pasted your photobucket IMG share code directly from their site - worked for me.

I think it has something to do with trying to copy and paste the URL from an iPad or something unique cuz posting the IMG code works fine for most people.
