Picture request - Victorinox Classic vs Leatherman PS4

I find any small Leatherman a bit too heavy on a keychain. I prefer the Vic Classic. I'm pretty sensitive to heavy keys, however. I've heard that over time, having keychains that are ~10oz can tear up your car's ignition switch.

I have a small Husky tool organizer in my daily carry bag (i.e. briefcase type thing ... not a man purse!) in which I usually keep a Leatherman and a couple other knives and basic survival tools.

Totally 100% true.

I have one friend that is a locksmith, and my friend Dan is a car mechanic with his own shop. Both have told me the same thing; keep your car keyring as light as possible. Chet, the locksmith, had an interesting call where the car key broke off inside the ignition switch when the car hit a bump going down the road. The lady had a ton of stuff on her keying. Dan has replaced numerous ignition switches for people with big key rings. The problem is going down the road, the weight of all the stuff dangling from the keyring gets to swaying, and putting high stress forces inside on both the switch mechanism and key itself. Which one will break first is luck of the draw.

Carl.
