for those of you who own a liner lock 110, could you please post some photos? I'd like a view from both sides and top and bottom, open and closed. I'd like to get a feel for the mechanics of this particular variation of 110, it seems like a very interesting design. thanks in advance!

Here's the only photo I have at the moment. Hope it helps.

thanks Mike, that helps a bit, looksl ike it came with a factory modified clip and no nail nick, thats cool.

Hi Mike,

I do like that version of the 110. It has green scale's on the handle I like those and that blade shape is unique any Idea of how many of those were made? Also, like muskrat man asked; can you supply us with the additional photos?

Thank you

...The shape of the blade on the 110LL is almost identical to the shape of the Buck 450 blade, the 450 being just a bit shorter...Before mine went for the swim it was a user for me and it actually was a great one at that...I been thinking about the 450 blade in a 110 but it's a bit too short to look symetrical...

As soon as I can get the digital camera away from my wife, I'll try to take some additional photos. The scales are made of the same material that the master series scales are minus the detail.

Hi Mike, DarrylS, Buck 110,

Thanks for the information guys and for Mike's future photo's.

I saw one of these a few years ago and just thought it was home made (for lack of a better term). Thanks for the info!

I just ask for some pictures, and look what a wealth of knowledge pops up. Thanks for all the info fellas! I look forward to the pictures

There were just under 350 110LLs made. Besides the brass frame prototypes, there are two versions with nickel silver frames that were produced. The 110LLs are the only 110 variants to have spear point blades; thus far.

The first 100 or so that have the blade with the nail nick and standard 1997 110 tang stamp. These have "Limited Production 1997" etched/engraved into the left side of the blade.

The last 250 or so have plain blades, no nail nick, and the old English tang stamp. These may be 425M blades.

Buck 110,
You are indeed a wealth of information! Now I know of two additional variants that I have to add to my list. :D
Mike
