Yeah it's a really nice knife, feels like it was made for my hand. I wanted to keep it a safe queen but it's really a shame not to use it.

Yesterday was a good day for a barbecue [and some beer] so I enlisted the aid of my JK Kentucky Woodsman with the prep work. With a small hickory club, it split the chicken cleanly in 2 shots. Then to the grill along with corn, red pepper, Anaheim chilis and a Portobello mushroom. Got jealous of the gathering an went for a walk myself,

JK Hiker (old style) in bloodwood that I picked up on BF a while ago.

The snow came down in one afternoon, about 4 inches, was hoping for a few more good days but the weather changed it's mind

I love this knife. I have carried it about a dozen times since I got it and was hoping to get some pictures of it looking all broken in but I keep wiping down the blade and babying it haha. Still in the honeymoon phase I guess.
